BullGen™ Canine Artificial Insemination Enhancer — 10 mL

Ready-to-use canine semen enhancer for fresh, chilled, and frozen-thawed semen before insemination.

BullGen™ Enhancer is designed to support and enhance sperm motility immediately before canine artificial insemination, including situations involving low-volume or less-than-ideal semen quality.

Enhancer supports motility in the sperm already present; adding it does not create sperm or increase the total sperm count. It is added immediately before insemination and serves a different purpose from the Extender used for chilled storage and transport.

Preparation

• Warm the Enhancer to room temperature or approximately 37°C before use.
• Pre-warm collection tubes, pipettes, and AI equipment to the same temperature.
• Use clean, completely dry equipment.
• For fresh semen, use the 2nd (sperm-rich) fraction only.
• For chilled semen, warm gently to room temperature before adding Enhancer.
• For frozen-thawed semen, thaw according to the semen/straw instructions before adding Enhancer.
• Evaluate concentration, progressive motility, and morphology before adding Enhancer.

BullGen mixing ratio

Standard ratio: 1:1 — equal parts semen and BullGen™ Enhancer.

• 2 mL semen + 2 mL Enhancer
• 3 mL semen + 3 mL Enhancer
• 4 mL semen + 4 mL Enhancer

Special low-volume instruction: When only 1 mL of semen is available, use 1 mL semen + 2 mL BullGen™ Enhancer.

How to add the Enhancer

• Add Enhancer slowly to the semen.
• Mix by gentle inversion. Do not shake.
• Add immediately before insemination.
• Optional: re-check motility after adding Enhancer.
• Inseminate promptly using the chosen method.
• Keep the prepared sample at room temperature and out of direct sunlight until use.

Storage

Keep refrigerated at 4–7°C. Do not freeze. Check the expiration date before use.
